The enormous manicured grounds are what set this facility apart from others in the region. The iconic layout of the Middlemount Swimming Pool allows members of the community to not only utilise the facility for swimming activities, but it also offers the opportunity to participate in other Lifestyle, Health and Wellbeing activities, it is not uncommon to see a backyard game of cricket being played in the open spaces of the Middlemount Swimming Pool by a group of 30 local community youth. These extra curricular activities ensure there is definitely a purpose for the greater community to access these fantastic facilties.

A focus on water education classes is a priority for the team at Lane 4 Aquatics – Middlemount as exposure to these types of programs is limited in the area and a large percentage of clientele live on rural properties. Working closely with the Isaac Regional Council, Lane 4 has managed to develop an extensive programs and services list, which ensure a large range of Lifestyle, Health, and Wellbeing opportunities are available for the Middlemount Community.
