“It’s a Pool Party workout for all ages.’’

Aqua Zumba is a challenging water based workout that is cardio – conditioning, body toning and is fantastic fun.

Zumba toning is the perfect way to sculpt your body naturally while having heaps of fun with a low impact aquatic exercise. It is Latin inspired and has the potential to burn up to 500 calories an hour. The health benefits are huge, while enjoying yourself you’re strengthening muscles and joints, increasing your endurance, flexibility, bone density and lung capacity. It’s a well-rounded workout which can conform to the individual needs.

They play a variety of upbeat music, keeping the energy levels high and the class moving non-stop for a full hour. The aqua tempo is a little slower paced, but you still get an amazing workout due to the resistance you feel in the water, making moves more challenging, yet reducing the impact on your joints.

“Don’t sweat it out at the gym” Come on down to the Proserpine Pool and party with Michelle, our Aqua Zumba instructor and her energizing classes which are available to attend on Wednesday evenings at 5:30 pm and Saturday mornings at 9:30 am.
