Lane 4's Campbell just misses sub 20min 1500m

Lane 4 Aquatics's staff member Campbell Miller-Waugh lined up for his debut 1500m at the Fina 50m pool South Rockhampton last Friday night. Racing in his home pool, at his clubs meet, the Beef City Carnival was treated to spectacular performance in the Vector Health Men's 1500m freestyle.

Caribeae's James Etherington lead the field home in a blistering 17:54.18, followed home by Jared O'Hanlon in 19:03.38, with local boy Campbell touching the wall inl 20:07.57.

Local triathlete Ronan Turley swam a strong 10:26.50 for the men's 800m, which was followed up by a top 7 in the men's catogory on Sunday's Frenchville Frogs Triathlon in Yeppoon.
